  • The full colour rendering option has a limit of 4 characters.

  • terms of service

1. General
- The piece will include a signature watermark which must not be removed. A non-watermarked version can be provided for private use upon request (eg: profile picture, wallpapers, etc).
- The client must have read the important notes above and acknowledged them.
- I reserve the right to decline any commission prompts if I feel they are incompatible with my skill level and ethical code.
2. Payment
- Commissions will be paid 100% upfront through Ko-fi or Paypal. I will start after full payment has been processed.
- Suggestions for other payment methods are welcome.
- If the price comes out to 200USD and over, I can offer split payment of 50% upfront and 50% after refined sketch approval (before I start colouring).
- Processing fees and taxes are not included.
- I do not do refunds as I commit to finishing pieces to your satisfaction.
3. Process and Delivery
- The client must be clear and committed with their initial brief and/or reference.
- After the brief has been given, I will come back to them with a quote.
- After payment, the client will be given composition drafts/sketches. Feedback from the client is encouraged.
- They should mention any requests for changes at this stage, as they will have a limited chance to change the composition after I leave the sketch phase.
- While the commission is in process, there will be check ins with the client.
- After the initial completion of the art piece, I will contact the client for any small final touches.
- The agreed on price includes revisions, provided they are simple. Larger or too many revisions will result in an additional fee.
- The duration needed to complete the artwork depends on the complexity. An estimate for a full colour piece with one character will take roughly 1 week. This may change depending on queue status.
- After the final review, the piece is finalized and is sent to the client.
4. Copyright / Usage policy
- I, Chris Hui (the artist BrontideBones), claim the rights to the produced art piece, not the buyer. This means the finished work is my intellectual property. I can use the copyrighted artwork to: promote myself with it anywhere, display it to my liking, use it as an example of my work and skill, and post it wherever I want.
- The client may post the finished work they’ve paid for anywhere they want with due credit of my artist’s name “BrontideBones”.
- The client may also print the work for their own private use, provided they do not make money with it.
- The client may not use the piece in AI training.
- The following is considered copyright infringement: reproducing or using the artwork commercially, claiming the artwork as your own, removing my signature from the artwork, and altering the artwork without my consent.

Hello!

I'm a visual artist with roots in Hong Kong. With degrees in Illustration and Communication Design, I aim to apply multi-disciplinary skills where my work goes.I have a great eye for visual and auditory atmosphere, themed scenarios, and visual space. In the arts, passion, poetry, and tragedy fascinate me. In design, I gravitate towards typography, book covers, and UI design. Vintage aesthetics are my guilty pleasure, notably Edwardian and 1930s-40s.Outside of the arts, I have a general curiosity of history and the sciences, and a knack for handicrafts and putting things together. Modding electronics and building furniture come naturally to me!

"Bowernook" is an app prototype focused on autism accessibility. It aims to reduce overwhelm and cognitive load for autistic adults, and provide a nostalgic escape from the chaos of reality.

"Surgery Procedures and Equipment" is an interactive infographic prototype made in Figma, with illustrations made in Clip Studio Paint.

"PantryButler" was a UI/UX group project made in Figma, where I was primarily in charge of the splash, home page, and storage sections.
